Designed for extra wide primary and secondary tillage in tough conditions. The John Berends Implements TH100 Folding Trailing Tandem Discs Plough combines legendary Gibbins Rawling design with modern high quality components, including European Bellota Boron steel discs, Australian-made Eaton rams, and Ryco hoses. Moreover, the John Berends Implements TH100 Folding Trailing Tandem Discs Plough is available in 28, 32, 36, 40, 44 and 48 disc models, with cutting widths ranging from 3.43m (11’4″) to a massive 5.71m (18’9″)! Three disc options are available: 24″ diameter discs, in either 5mm or 6mm thickness, and 26″ diameter discs with 6mm thickness. Additionally, all discs are long wear European Bollota Boron steel discs. Bellota Boron steel discs are manufactured under strict quality specifications that ensure correct hardness and uniformity throughout the disc. This includes clamp hardening to prevent distortion, lathe turning of the edges and hardening to 50HRc for low wear and long life. All John Berends Implements TH100 Folding Trailing Tandem Discs Plough models are fitted with hydraulic gang adjustment. It has been designed so that the gangs fold parallel with the main frame, resulting in less than 2.4m overall width when folded. The gangs can also be fully opened, when only a fine till of the topsoil is required. The John Berends Implements TH100 Folding Trailing Tandem Discs Plough includes all of the heavy-duty features of the RM75 and RM80, including solid cast spools, flanged disc bearings, 5 ton axle and more. A buster tine removes the centre ridge to create a level soil finish, and furrow fillers are integrated into the unit and included as standard. Prong scrapers and parking jack are standard. Formed scrapers available as an option. A note on Gibbins Rawling – In 1986, John Berends Implements brought Gibbins-Rawling. By taking on the Gibbins Rawling range, John Berends could offer a quality range of discs that had a long and respectable history with Australian farmers. The Gibbins Rawlings name and colours were kept until 1998, after which all machines were painted in Berends colours.
