Description

The John Berends Implements Post Hole Digger Range – Australian-made post hole diggers provide excellent performance and value for money. Three models are available – Standard, for augers 4″ to 12″ in diameter; Compact, for the same range of augers but with a frame designed for compact tractors; and Heavy Duty, for augers 4″ to 24″ in diameter. The John Berends Implements Post Hole Digger Range: All three models will dig to a depth of 1200mm (if ground conditions permit). The Compact model is designed for small horsepower tractors where linkage arms have limited lifting height. All models are fitted with jib hook and transport chain as standard. The Heavy Duty model is also fitted with an auger control handle for easy positioning. All three models feature a high quality Series 3 PTO driveshaft with an L2 Torque Limiting Clutch at the tractor end. This is more effective than a slip clutch in this application. A range of augers are available, in 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″, 15″, 18″ and 24″ sizes. All augers are 1200mm long. All augers are fitted with a Pengo Boring Head, with replaceable earth teeth at 35° angles and bolt on pilots. All augers have a double cutting head. Optional teeth and pilots are available to suit various ground conditions. Conversion heads are available in most sizes to mount onto older augers (either in clockwise or anti-clockwise rotation).
