The John Berends Implements Medium Duty Linkage Offset Discs Ploughs are robust and designed for years of hard work with minimum maintenance. Moreover, the John Berends Implements Medium Duty Linkage Offset Discs Ploughs are a popular cultivation tool, used to break up soil for preparing crops or controlling weeds. The discs can cut up and mix in trash, and are very hard wearing, long lasting and easy to use. The Medium Duty range is designed for small to medium size tractors, with minimum power ranging from 20hp (for the 10 plate model) up to 45hp (for the 18 plate model). Cutting widths range from 1.1m (3’9″) to 2.05m (6’9″). John Berends Disc Ploughs are made in Australia, and fitted with long wear European Bollota Boron steel discs. Bellota Boron steel discs are manufactured under strict quality specifications that ensure correct hardness and uniformity throughout the disc. This includes clamp hardening to prevent distortion, lathe turning of the edges and hardening to 50HRc for low wear and long life.
