The John Berends Implements Heavy Duty HD Range is a slasher manufactured for rugged Australian conditions, heavily built using top quality components to give you the best value for money obtainable. Made in Australia using high quality European components. The one piece body is made from 6mm quality steel. Excellent underframe clearance clears cut material quickly. The John Berends Implements Heavy Duty HD Range features Italian made Bondioli & Pavesi Series 5 PTO driveshafts. These driveshafts include a 2 plate slip clutch, to protect the slasher and tractor. The oil-lubricated gearbox is rated to 75hp, with excellent seal guards that make it virtually impossible for wire to damage the gearbox. An optional Italian manufactured gearbox upgrade is also available. Both gearboxes include a 5 year warranty. The HD range of slashers can be galvanised for extra protection, and a solid rubber wheelkit and rollers set is available for depth control.
